Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
Come and join the fun! Artragous! is an afterschool class designed for those younger artists among us. The course is designed to build on your young artists' skill set while encouraging them to also explore their creativity, using a variety of different materials and techniques. This class is aimed at students aged 7+
The 10 week terms starts

Drawing, print making, painting, collage, mixed media and 3-D work are among some of the skills we will be developing throughout the year. All materials are supplied. Students might like to wear old clothes or an old shirt to class. It is great if students have had a snack before hand and bring a waterbottle.
This class is taught by Lizzie Thomas who paints under the moniker ellaquaint. She is a registered teacher and has a wealth of experience teaching at Secondary School Level as well after school kids classes, adult night classes and workshops. A practicing and exhibiting artist with over 28 years experience :)
