Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
The studio comfortably seats up to 16 students for group workshops with handmade benches and stools, that can be rolled into different configurations, allowing it to be used as a working art space. Also available to creatives for short exhibition rental with hanging system or as a teaching space for community events, assistance is available for ticketed workshops or weekly classes. All events or workshops must have a creative and educational element to be run in the Schoolhouse studios.
